Dell Aero launched in India
Dell Aero an Android phone by Dell Mobiles is now available in the market at a very low price of INR 11,999 only. Dell Mobiles clearing their stocks has made this phone available from online retailers in India. This phone was announced in 2009 and was made available in only selected countries but now it is available in India.
The mobile features a 5 mega pixel camera with digital zoom and auto focus. The phone has 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with 360 x 640 pixels camera resolution and 256k colours. The phone weighs only 108 g and has a dimension of 122 x 57.9 x 11.7 mm. This Android device allows data transfer via GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, BLUETOOTH and 2.0 Micro USB Port.
The Dell Aero has v1.5 Android OS, HTML browser, 624 MHz processor speed and works on operating frequency GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 ,HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100. The phone has 1000 mAh battery which has a talktime of 5 hours and a standby time of 400 hours. The additional features include Handsfree Speaker, Internal Antenna, Real Time Clock, Alarm Clock, Predictive Text Input and JAVA.
Another Android phone launched by Dell in India was Dell Streak. This phone was available in India at a price of Rs. 28,000/-. This multimedia phone has every feature of a smart phone like dual camera, 16 GB internal memory with 5 inch display and camera resolution of 480 x 800 Pixels. This phone weighs only 220 g and has size 152.9 x 79.1 x 10 mm. The phone provides us with connectivity options like Bluetooth v2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and USB v2.0, and has all basic media features that a smart phone has.
Dell Streak had already done a great business in International and Indian market and now its time for Dell Aero to do the same in the Indian as it had done in the International market.
