Motorola Xoom Android tablet available in India
The first tablet to run on Android 3.1 platform, according to the company, arrived in India earlier this week and users who have been waiting to lay their hands on the device can now grab it through LetsBuy. The Motorola Xoom tablet lets users stay productive and have fun while on the move.
Powered by 1.5GHz Dual Core processor and 1GB RAM, it is said to be the first tablet to employ Honeycomb. Fitted with a 10.1-inch multitouch screen featuring a resolution of 1280x 800, its dimensions are 249.1mm x 167.8mm x 12.9mm.
The lightweight tablet has memory storage of 32GB and offers compatibility with Adobe Flash 10 player and Android HTML webkit for improved web browsing. Besides Bluetooth, it also supports WLAN, GPRS and EDGE. A 5MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera facilitate video recording and conferencing.
The Xoom tablet is available in two variants – Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+3G, price tagged at Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 38,999 respectively.
